Celebration of 10 Years of Bad Dürkheim City Museum at Haus Catoir – Where History Has a Future

The Bad Dürkheim City Museum has a special reason to celebrate this year: For ten years, their cultural institution has presented itself in the historic Haus Catoir as a modern museum and a central place for the city's history for residents and tourists alike. To celebrate this anniversary together, the city of Bad Dürkheim warmly invites you to the event “10 Years of Bad Dürkheim City Museum – Where History Has a Future”.

The celebration will take place in the archaeological department of the city museum. The evening offers an exciting opportunity to look back at the milestones of the re-conceptualization and development of the museum over the past ten years. Through contributions in words and images, the key stages of this journey will be highlighted: from the initial considerations for the museum's re-conceptualization, through the renovation and redesign of Haus Catoir, to the various activities, exhibitions, and projects that have characterized the city museum since its reopening.

The Bad Dürkheim Music School will accompany the event.

With the acquisition of an additional building and a comprehensive new concept, an important milestone was set for the museum ten years ago. Since then, the city museum has become a vibrant place for conveying history, fostering encounters, and promoting cultural education.
